Key Stage 4
Year 10
End of year assessments will take place under formal exam conditions, for all subjects during the fortnight commencing 17th June 2019. Students will also be given regular, on-going assessments approximately every 6-8 weeks. These will take place in class, under exam conditions and will require revision. Revision will be often set as homework. Students will be assessed both on topics they have just studied and, more widely, on topics studied earlier in the course, so as to prompt on-going revision of the whole scheme of learning.
Year 11
Year 11 mock exams will take place for all subjects from the 10th December. These exams will take place in formal conditions.
Post- mock exams will take place for English and maths in the week commencing 4th March.
Students will also be given regular, on-going assessments approximately every 6-8 weeks. These will take place in class, in exam conditions and will require revision. Revision will be often set as homework. These assessments will test students both on topics they have just studied and questions studied earlier, in order to enable on-going revision of the whole course.
