We are pleased to report another set of excellent A’ level results. Over a quarter of all grades awarded were at A*-A, with 53% at A*-B and 79% at A*-C. Clearly, these results demonstrate very high levels of attainment, but they also represent very good progress from students’ starting points.
Well over 80% of our students have secured places at university, with over a quarter now heading off to the prestigious Russell Group universities where places are highly competitive. Two students will be going to Cambridge University (and a third chose to turn down an offer from Oxford University).
A special mention must go to Emma Catlow, Lily Dyble, Matthew Pyman and Joe McManus, all of whom secured straight A* grades. Many more achieved A* or A grades in all the subjects they sat.
A huge amount of credit goes to the students and staff involved. The improvement in results over the last year is testament to the hard work that has been put in by all concerned. It has been a lovely morning watching the happy faces of so many of them as they realise that all the effort was worth it. We wish every one of them the very best for the future.
