In the third week back after Christmas (20–24th January), Year 7, 8 and 9 students will be sitting exams in English, Maths and Science, and these will assess knowledge and understanding of the content students have covered this academic year along with some consolidation of older work for Year 8 and 9. Applications for Warrington & Vale Royal College courses starting in September 2025 are now open. This year, some of its courses, such as Construction, Health and Early Years, had to operate waiting lists and a first-come-first-serve basis. As such, students are reminded to send in their application to study with the college by Friday 31^st January 2025. The application process is outlined on this video.
