National Citizen Service

This week we had a visit from the National Citizen Service (NCS) team. Year 11 heard about how the NCS programme could offer them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do something meaningful with their summer break, as well as a chance to develop skills and take on new challenges that will set them up for adult life.

You can also watch the virtual NCS assembly here.

GCSE Certificates

Year 12 students are invited to collect their GCSE certificates on Tuesday 11th and Wednesday 12th January. These will be available from the Upper Hexagon at breaktime.

It is really important that students keep these safe: replacements cost approximately £40 per certificate and these can only be purchased directly from the exam boards.

Thank you,
Mrs Jennings

E-Safety Information Evening – 13th January 2022

We have invited Kat Howard from Smoothwall to talk to us about how we can keep our children safe online. She is passionate about the importance of online safety in schools and the wider community and provides advice and support on a day-to-day basis. During this workshop, Kat will give you lots of practical hints, tips and activities to support your young people in this environment.
