Macbeth – Wednesday 28th February

We are delighted to inform you that on Wednesday 28th February during period 1 and 2, your child will be watching a live performance of ‘Macbeth‘ right here on our Lymm High stage! The company of actors are well established and once they have performed the students will have the opportunity to ask them questions about the content of the play or being an actor!

This is a fantastic way to start their comprehensive study of ‘Macbeth‘ so please do ask them questions about the performance when they return home.

Afritwin partnership – Application information

We are delighted with the response in relation to the Afritwin partnership and it was fantastic to have so many of you attend the information evening on Monday.

If you weren’t able to make it the slides can be found here, but please note a change in deadline to initially sign up for the trip, this is now Friday 2nd February.

As discussed, there was more interest than we expected, which means we will look to run another trip in July 2026 as well.

If your child would like to sign up to go on the trip, please complete the form here.

Once the deadline has passed we will offer places on each of the 2025 and 2026 trips. Once places have been allocated, we will contact you with further details regarding confirmation, deposit, payments etc.

Afritwin partnership trip

We are delighted to be launching a partnership with a school in Kenya for students currently in Years 10-12. This is an exciting long-term partnership, which will involve a variety of events and activities throughout the year, learning about their school, community and culture as well as fundraising for the school itself.

As part of this we are excited to be offering the opportunity for students to join a trip to visit Kenya for 13 nights from 12th July 2025, to spend time volunteering at the school.

Please click here to read the full details, which includes an Information evening on Monday 22nd January.
