We are looking forward to seeing you at our Information evening on Monday 23rd September. The event is for parents and carers only and will run from 6-7pm.

It will be split into two halves as follows:

6pm:

• L Form parents go straight to the Main Hall via the Atrium entrance (by the blue pods off the carpark).
• H Form parents go straight to the Main Reception area where you will be met by your child’s Tutor and escorted to the relevant classroom.

6.30pm:

• L Form parents will be directed out of the Main Hall by your child’s Tutor to the relevant classroom.
• H Form parents will make their way to the Main Hall.

We look forward to meeting you on Monday.

We cover our Personal, Social, Health Education (PSHE); Relationships and Sexual Health (RSHE); and elements of careers through a curriculum delivered during Form times and extended Form sessions across the year. As part of our commitment to supporting your child’s learning, all Year 7 students will be taking the New Group Reading Test (NGRT), starting on 16th September. Please click here to read about the test and its purpose.

Each year, Warrington Athletics Club organises cross-country races for local schools. The dates of this year’s races are:

• Saturday 28th September
• Saturday 14th December

Dear Year 7 Parents,

I trust your child has settled in smoothly and found their first 2 days at Lymm High School both enjoyable and enriching. It has been a genuine pleasure to welcome them into our community.

I am writing to inform you of our current approach regarding homework for Year 7. To facilitate a seamless transition, teachers will refrain from assigning any homework over the next 2 weeks. Following this period, students will receive homework exclusively from the core subjects (Mathematics, English and Science) for the remainder of this half term. A full homework schedule across all subjects will commence at the beginning of the next half-term.
