Duke of Edinburgh Notices
DofE 2023-24 cohorts
If you’ve signed your child up for Duke of Edinburgh in any of the following year groups: Year 9 (Bronze), Year 10 (Silver) and Year 12 (Gold), we have started to purchase their registration packs and usernames will be issued shortly afterwards via Form tutors.
Duke of Edinburgh Information Evening – Tuesday 3rd October, 5.30pm
Bronze Award
The Bronze Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is offered to Year 9s at Lymm High School.
Bronze DofE includes 4 sections:
- Physical
- Skill
- Volunteering
- Expeditions
The award will take 6 months to complete, not including the expeditions.
Silver Award
The Silver Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is offered to Year 10s at Lymm High School.
Silver DofE includes 4 sections:
- Physical
- Skill
- Volunteering
- Expeditions
The award will take between 9 and 12 months (depending on whether Bronze has been previously completed).
Gold Award
The Gold Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is offered to Year 12s at Lymm High School.
Gold DofE includes 5 sections:
- Physical
- Skill
- Volunteering
- Residential
- Expeditions
The award will take between 12 and 18 months (depending on whether Silver has been previously completed).
