Year 12 Trips – Deadline

Dear Parent or Carer,

If you haven’t done so already, please ensure you have signed your child up on ParentPay by this evening for the two Year 12 trips – Liverpool University and Safe Drive Stay Alive.

These trips are mandatory, unless special considerations need to be made. We appreciate not every student will want to go to university or know what they want to do after Sixth Form at this time, however it is in the best interest of the year group to have the opportunity to visit a university and understand more about the higher education pathway should they wish to take this opportunity up at any point in their life.

If you are not giving your consent on ParentPay for your child to attend both trips, please contact Sixth Form.

Thank you for your support.

Sixth Form Open Evening, 5-8pm Thursday 16th November

We are very much looking forward to welcoming students and their parent / carer to our Open Evening for the opportunity to learn more about the courses we offer, view our facilities and to get a real insight into our wonderful Sixth Form community. It is essential that your child reserves a place to attend, by clicking on the booking link below. We will communicate more information in due course to those registered to attend. On the evening, we would kindly request that students bring only one parent or carer wherever possible. Please note, this evening is for Yr11 students only.
If you have any questions or queries, please call and speak to Mrs Hughes or email 6thformadmissions@lymmhigh.org.uk
We look forward to seeing you.

Geography Iceland Trip – Parent Information Meeting

Dear Parent or Carer,

With not long until the geography trip to Iceland departs, there will be a parental / guardian information meeting held after school on Monday 18th September between 5.30pm and 6.30pm in the main school hall. At this meeting there will be a PowerPoint presentation giving an overview of the trip itinerary, as well as details regarding travel and a kit list. There will be an opportunity to meet the staff accompanying the trip and to ask questions. Please email Mrs Rigby at trigby@lymmhigh.org.uk to confirm attendance. Students are also welcome to attend.

Year 13 – First Day Back – Thursday 7th September

Dear Parent or Carer,

We are very much looking forward to seeing students on Thursday and we hope they have all had a lovely summer break. Students should arrive in school by 8.25am and go directly the Lower Hex for assembly.

For students travelling to school using Warrington’s Own Buses network, the website has been updated with the latest information here.

In addition, you may have seen in the media the news about some schools being closed due to RAAC concerns. Please be assured that Lymm High is not affected by this issue.

If you have any questions or queries, please direct them to Mrs Hughes on lhughes@lymmhigh.org.uk in the first instance.
